The Star Wars star, 56, publicly announced her passing with a touching tribute, which read: “Her passing has left a huge hole in our lives as a family. I miss her hugs. She was a unique character, always seeing the sunny side of life, she had a wicked sense of humour and always laughed at my bad jokes.”
The Hollywood favorite, who met his spouse on the set of George Lucas’ movie, Willow, went on to describe his late spouse as his “most trusted confidant and an ardent supporter of everything I did in my career.”
Their kids, Harrison and Annabelle, also shared an emotional assertion to their late mom, stating that her “love and happiness carried us through our whole lives”. They added: “Mum is our best friend and we’re honoured to have received a love like hers.”
But it seems as though the doting dad has moved on from the love of his life after he was noticed with a stunning brunette at the BAFTA awards. Paying tribute to her in his acceptance speech, he revealed his candy nickname for her is ‘Sponge’, and he credited her for “helping him find love again”.
The couple have been also seen together backstage at a Madness live performance last July, with his new belle also becoming a member of his two kids when Warwick accepted his OBE at Windsor Castle earlier this week.
Sources close to the couple declare they’ve been courting for a yr and are apparently “happier than ever” together. A source told the Daily Mail: “Warwick has been with his girlfriend for over a year now and they couldn’t be happier. She has no interest in being a public figure and, although she has accompanied Warwick to events, she does not court the limelight.
“She is proud of Warwick and loves to be by his aspect at occasions, but she is going to stand back and enable him to be in the highlight. She is close with his kids, and they’ve a pretty life together. All anybody needed was to see Warwick comfortable, and he has that with his girlfriend.”
