Political commentator Tucker Carlson is claiming that the CIA went through his personal messages main up to the conflict in Iran, attempting to body him as a international agent.
This weekend, Tucker Carlson launched a video on X alleging that the Department of Justice, appearing on the CIA’s advice, is making an attempt to indict him as an unregistered international agent for the Iranian regime.
“The CIA is preparing some kind of criminal referral against me, a crime report to the Department of Justice, on the basis of a supposed crime I committed,” Carlson says in the video.
“What’s that crime? Well, talking to people in Iran before the war,” Carlson added. “They read my texts.”
Carlson is going through potential expenses under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (1938), according to his own claims. This law mandates that people who obtain fee from international governments for political advocacy or lobbying must register with the Department of Justice.
The former Fox News host has been outspoken in his criticism of President Trump’s Operation Epic Fury. He is now assuring viewers that he isn’t an Iranian asset.
“I’m not an agent of a foreign power. Unlike a lot of people commenting on U.S. politics and global affairs, I have only one loyalty, and that’s the United States, and have never acted against it,” he said and assured viewers that he has “never taken money” from another nation.
“Don’t need it, don’t want it,” Carlson said, including, “It’s my job to talk to everybody all the time and try to figure out what’s happening around the world. I’m an American. I can talk to anybody.”

“MAGA is saving our country. MAGA is making our country great again. MAGA is America first, and Tucker is none of those things. And Tucker is really not smart enough to understand that,” he said.
Critics have accused Tucker Carlson of selling narratives that favor America’s rivals in the Middle East, with Fox News host Mark Levin among those making such claims.
