MLB union boss Tony Clark resigning in surprise…
The MLB Players Association can have a new chief as it prepares for what may very well be an ugly labor battle.
Tony Clark, the union’s government director, is resigning, The Post’s Joel Sherman confirmed.
Clark, 53, was set to start his annual tour through spring training camps Tuesday at the Guardians’ facility in Goodyear, Ariz., but that was canceled.

The MLB collective bargaining settlement expires in December, and the house owners’ want for a wage cap — and the gamers’ insistence against one — might outcome in combative negotiations that might influence the 2027 season.
The Eastern District of New York has also been investigating the union for allegations of financial impropriety.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
