Singer Morrissey has withdrawn from his South American unclothed tour performances as he continues struggling with “extreme exhaustion.”

Just days before, the previous Smiths frontman scrapped two Mexico concert events, citing an identical health issues. The artist was scheduled to carry out across Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, Santiago, Lima, and Bogota between November 8 and November 22.

Concert venues have now notified ticket purchasers about the cancellation.

Argentina’s Movistar Arena announced: “We inform the public that, due to extreme exhaustion of the artist, Morrissey’s tour of Latin America will not take place, including the show scheduled for November 8th at the Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires.”

The performer was set to seem at Mexico City’s Palacio de los Deportes on October 31 and Zapopan’s Auditorio Telmex on Tuesday (November 4, 2025), but both concert events have been called off at the eleventh hour.

This follows the artist scrapping two US performances due to a “credible threat on his life”.

Morrissey was set to seem at venues in Connecticut and Massachusetts in September, but pulled both reveals citing an “abundance of caution”.

An announcement posted to his official Facebook account read: “In recent days, there has been a credible threat on Morrissey’s life. Out of an abundance of caution for the safety of both the artist and audience, tonight’s engagement at Foxwoods has been cancelled. We appreciate your understanding.”

The British singer-songwriter rose to prominence in the Nineteen Eighties with The Smiths before launching a profitable solo profession.
