NBC News staffers who offered graphics help to both sister community MSNBC and the mothership division have been laid off from their jobs forward of company mother or father Comcast’s spinoff of its cable division into a new company, according to a report.
Fewer than a dozen staffers had been shown the door at 30 Rock just lately as preparations are being made for a new company called Versant to take up MSNBC, according to the Status e-newsletter.
