Vanna White has gifted Derek Hough a special gift | TV Shows

Vanna White added a personal contact to Derek Hough’s journey into fatherhood, stunning him with a handmade child gift.

During a current go to to the set of Extra, the longtime Wheel of Fortune host offered Hough with a yellow crocheted blanket she had made herself. The second was captured in a clip shared on Instagram.

“When you came to the show we taped your version, which is airing this Friday, I said I was gonna make you a baby blanket, so here you go,” White, 68, told the Dancing with the Stars decide, who is getting ready for his first youngster with spouse Hayley Erbert.

Hough, 40, seemed shocked as he opened the gift bag.

“Are you kidding me right now?” he said. “You did not make this.”

“Yes, I did,” White assured him. “There’s a tag to prove it.”

The blanket carried a label studying, “Crocheted for you by Vanna White.”

Hough, holding back tears, told her, “I can’t wait to show this to my wife, and I can’t wait to swaddle, I’m gonna get emotional. I can’t wait.”

White, a mom of two, inspired him to benefit from the new chapter forward. “They grow up fast,” she said.

Hough and Erbert, 30, shared news of their being pregnant in July with a video posted on Instagram.

In the clip, the couple embraced while standing on a hillside.

Erbert revealed a strip of sonogram pictures as they smiled for the digicam.

The post’s caption read, “We can’t believe the biggest thing to happen to us could be so small.”

Hough later mirrored on fatherhood during an look on The Jennifer Hudson Show.

He admitted that even as the due date approaches, the fact sometimes catches him off guard.
