The BAFTA-winning drama Appropriate Adult has hit Netflix, reigniting public intrigue in the heinous crimes of Fred and Rose West.

This harrowing true story has been thrust back into the highlight with the release of Netflix‘s documentary, Fred and Rose West: A British Horror Story, which delves into the heartbreaking murders dedicated by the married couple, from the standpoint of the victims’ households and the Gloucestershire Constabulary’s probe.

First aired on ITV in 2011, the drama Appropriate Adult centres on the experiences of Janet Leach, a volunteer who was appointed as Fred West’s ‘acceptable grownup’, tasked with guaranteeing his understanding of the police questioning and legal fees during his interviews.
