Phil Mickelson begs Donald Trump to save San | Golf News

Phil Mickelson has despatched Gavin Newsom a clear message in response to the Governor of California‘s assertion on Donald Trump,suggesting that San Francisco is ‘woke’.

Trump has declared that he’ll ‘make San Francisco great again’ while discussing a go to to the town, with Newsom responding.

Mickelson has long been a Trump supporter and a republican voice, commonly backing him across social media throughout his two reigns as president.

Speaking last week, Trump said: “The difference is I think they want us in San Francisco. San Francisco was truly one of the great cities of the world, and then 15 years ago it went woke. We’re going to go to San Francisco. We’re going to make it great.”

In a quote tweet, Newsom, who will look to grow to be the chief of the Democratic get together and run for president in 2028, had strong phrases.

Newsom said: “Fact check: Nobody wants you here. You will ruin one of America’s greatest cities.”

Mickelson responded with a tweet, merely writing: “This isn’t true at all. We are begging for him to come save this former great city(and more).”

This comes as Trump has advised he’ll ‘strongly take into account’ sending the national guard to the town, with Mickelson suggesting that San Francisco, and California, wants help.

Mickelson also responded to a message from a follower on social media, including: “We’re also begging him to save the entire state from our inevitable energy crisis.”

It shouldn’t be the first time Mickelson has spoken on San Francisco and the need for intervention. He had re-shared a post that ranked San Francisco as the worst-ran metropolis in the United States.

Mickelson tweeted: “This is really sad and disappointing. It’s such a beautiful place to be ruined by poor leadership.”
