But on Thursday, the police in Covington, Kentucky did not maintain back in responding to anti-ICE people as they moved from Ohio into their city and state on a bridge.
The Covington Police Department responded to the protest on the Roebling Suspension Bridge, which they mentioned “obstructed traffic and created safety concerns for both demonstrators and the public.” To keep away from visitors disruptions, protesters had been requested by the police to go away the bridge and transfer to the sidewalk, but according to police, officers had been met with “open hostility and threatening behavior.”
