Angel Carter has opened up about the ultimate time she spoke with her twin brother Aaron Carter before he tragically died at the age of 34.

Aaron was discovered lifeless by his housekeeper in his bathtub on November 5, 2022. He died from drowning due to the results of taking alprazolam, a kind of Xanax, and inhaling difluoroethane.

Angel did not have a good relationship with her brother and they last noticed each other in particular person three years before his death when they had been in court together.

Angel told People at the time of Aaron’s death, “It makes me sad to know that the last time I saw him was in 2019 in a courtroom. It was the last time I ever saw Aaron.”

In 2019, Angel and her brother Nick Carter revealed on X that they had requested restraining orders against Aaron due to his “increasingly alarming behavior.” They continued, “We were left with no choice, but to take every measure possible to protect ourselves and our family.”

Angel did not converse to Aaron for a 12 months after the request for a restraining order. She said they had two conversations then that had been 4 hours long.

“And then I had also talked to him a few times in between that…. He had Covid at one point, and I called him to check on him,” she told People. “I talked to him three days before he passed away.”

Angel recalled Aaron going on Instagram Live that day “huffing duster cans and passing out and all these things.” She determined to call her brother to ask him what he was doing and strive and converse some sense into him.

Aaron initially tried to deny every little thing, before Angel told him, “Aaron, I saw you on Live. I saw it happen. Live, you doing this.”

The 38-year-old said her brother blamed her, claiming she was the explanation he was utilizing medication. Angel replied, “Aaron, that’s not really fair. You can’t, don’t blame me for this.”

Angel said she was “angry” after Aaron accused her of being the explanation for his habit points and advised they ought to meet face to face with a therapist to mediate the assembly.

Angel told her brother they may “talk later,” but it was sadly the last dialog the pair would have together.

Aaron’s death is not the only tragedy the Carter household skilled. His sister, Leslie Carter, died from an overdose aged 25 in 2012. In 2023, his sister Bobbie Jean Carter died aged 41 due to “intoxication due to the combined effects of fentanyl and methamphetamine.”
