Tom Llamas’ latest guest said there’s a “reason to be concerned” as bomb threats grow across the nation.

On the Friday, March 13 episode of NBC Nightly News, the 46-year-old host shared particulars on the FBI’s investigation into an Old Dominion University capturing that is being examined as an act of terrorism.

Llamas said the suspect, former ex-Army National Guard member Mohamed Jalloh, reportedly entered the ROTC class in Virginia with a stolen Glock firearm that he illegally bought. Federal authorities said the suspect yelled “Allahu Akbar” before he opened fire. The cadets then went after him with one of them fatally stabbing the shooter. Aside from the suspect, one individual was killed and two people have been injured.

Jalloh beforehand served a 11-year prison sentence for “providing material support to ISIS.” He was launched early in 2024.

Chief Capitol Hill Correspondent Ryan Nobles revealed this was just one of a number of threats posed to the state this week, sharing, “At least five different Virgina colleges reported some form of a bomb threat, including the University of Virginia, but all of those threats turned out to not be legitimate.”

President Donald Trump announced the news of the Iranian chief’s death Saturday afternoon. On his Truth Social, he praised the killing of “one of the most evil people in history,” framing it as retaliation for the hurt brought about on Americans and others affected by Iran’s management.

“This is not only Justice for the people of Iran,” Trump wrote, “but for all Great Americans, and those people from many Countries throughout the World, that have been killed or mutilated by Khamenei and his gang of bloodthirsty THUGS.”

The president added the Iranian people now have “the single greatest chance… to take back their country. He also noted the U.S. strikes on Iran will persist.

Trump clarified, “The heavy and pinpoint bombing, however, will continue, uninterrupted throughout the week or, as long as necessary to achieve our objective of PEACE THROUGHOUT THE MIDDLE EAST AND, INDEED, THE WORLD!”
