Trump Is Tired of D.C.’s ‘BACK2GOOD’ Attitude and

President Trump is a man who has always cared about the small print. He is a grasp showman; even his most ardent haters would have to admit that. If it’s not performed with excellence, in his thoughts, it shouldn’t be performed at all. To the opposite, that isn’t how the District of Columbia has been run under Mayor Muriel Bowser. In fact, the usual for D.C. under Bowser is so low that the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority once funded and pushed a public relations marketing campaign called “BACK2GOOD” to promote their efforts to improve the metro. 

Allow me to additional clarify this. The Metro in D.C. was doing so poorly across every class that the town was pushing to merely get back to average service—not an wonderful service, that was not the purpose, an average service. What type of chief units that commonplace? Imagine a gross sales group for a Fortune 500 company working every day to be average. It’s just not real life. Unless you’re an elected official in the District. The metropolis funded and promoted the marketing campaign with adverts across Metro and bus providers, even funding a business highlighting the hassle.

Compare this to their effort surrounding crime, and issues actually start to make sense. I lived in D.C. for over eight years—I’ve crime tales. I don’t know anybody (I’m not being hyperbolic), I imply anybody, who has lived in the town for an prolonged period of time who doesn’t have a personal crime story. Personal theft. Cars stolen. Cars destroyed. Tires stolen. Bullets flying. The tales run the gamut. 

How this same management is pushing back on President Trump for his efforts to make D.C. a safer place to live is past me. The National Guard presence is clearly sending the right message. In just one week, studies are circulating discussing how residents already really feel safer. Journalist Katie Pavlich posted on X after coming into through Union Station since the Trump takeover:

For those coming to America to see our great Capitol metropolis, security is a top precedence. For far too long, the inmates have run the asylum—I imply that both actually and figuratively. Look at those numbers. Robbery is down practically 50 p.c, with carjackings down 83 p.c. Trump is doing to D.C. what he did with our southern border. It appears like once again, all we needed was a new president. I’m hopeful that very soon, residents will no longer have a D.C. crime story. The fact is simple: We can’t trust the same people who would promote a “BACK2GOOD” public relations marketing campaign to end crime in the town. It’s not going to occur.
