President Donald Trump has posted to Truth Social that anybody who vandalizes the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool will face up to 10 years in jail.

Trump reiterated his claims of vandalism enacted on the pool, also claiming that harm was brought about by “Radical Left SCUM.”

He added that the 10-year prison sentence extends to Washington D.C.’s almost 70 other “Monuments, Statues, and Fountains that we renovated throughout Washington, D.C.” He also said, “Security is watching those public displays very carefully.”

“Security is watching very carefully for the almost 70 other Monuments, Statues, and Fountains that we renovated throughout Washington, D.C. If anyone attacks any of them, they get as much as 10 years in jail. In any event, go check it out — The Reflecting Pool is magnificent!,” Trump wrote.

The president boasted about the reflecting pool, which has come under public scrutiny for being crammed with inexperienced algae.

“It looks beautiful! After July 4th, we will release the water, fix the damage done to the very expensive waterproof matting, with the use of sharp knives and muscle, including the 350-foot gash along its right side, and have it looking as good as it was two weeks ago, when it was absolutely PERFECT! This will all happen very quickly,” Trump said.

President Trump’s claims about vandalism at the Reflecting Pool have lacked evidence.

For weeks, Trump has confronted elevated scrutiny over the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool restoration, which is estimated to value between $14 million and $16 million. The project has confronted a litany of points since restoration started.

By mid-June, after the underside of the pool was painted “American Flag Blue,” images show the water had turned inexperienced from algae, and the blue paint had been peeling off.

Workers started cleansing the pool with hydrogen peroxide, but a noticeable change occurred only around the sides.

Dead geese have been also photographed in the reflecting pool and an adjoining fountain, prompting issues from animal advocacy organizations over potential poisonous algae.

President Trump confronted criticism from his longtime foe, his predecessor Joe Biden, late Saturday, who slammed the Reflecting Pool renovation and other tasks across D.C.

“It’s not just his vanity projects,” Biden said in remarks at a Saturday night time gala hosted by the Maryland Democratic Party. “He’s tearing down the East Wing of the White House, making room for his ballroom. Putting his name on the Kennedy Center. Building an arch in his own honor. Even hiring his own pool guy to fix his Reflecting Pool. … Whoa, what a loser.”
