US considers granting asylum to British Jews as

The United States would possibly offer asylum to British Jews fleeing antisemitism in the close to future.

U.S. President Donald Trump‘s personal lawyer, Robert Garson, a British-American of Jewish descent, is main efforts to present sanctuary to Britain’s Jews, believing that “the U.Ok. is no longer a secure for Jews,” in the wake of latest terror assaults at locations of worship and rising antisemitism linked to the Israel-Hamas conflict in Gaza.

Garson, 49, also expressed frustration with what he views as British Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s lack of motion to tackle the issue, which he cites as evidence for his considerations about Jewish security and prosperity in the U.Ok., which boasts more than 287,000 people, according to latest Census statistics.

Manchester-born Garson told The Telegraph that he’s discussing the likelihood with the U.S. State Department and the Holocaust Museum board, which he serves on.

“When I look at what is going on with Jews in Britain, and when I look at the changing demographics, I don’t believe — and I have discussed this with people in the Trump administration — that there is a future for Jews in the United Kingdom. For me, that is particularly sad,” he told the outlet.

Garson said he has spoken with Trump’s antisemitism envoy, Rabbi Yehuda Kaploun, who works at an ambassador level for the U.S. State Department. Both serve as Trump-appointed board members of the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Council and are based in Florida.

Trump’s lawyer, who is also handling Trump’s $50 million lawsuit against investigative journalist Bob Woodward, expressed optimism that the deal has the potential to go to the finish line.

“The U.K. is no longer a safe place for Jews. I have spoken to the State Department as to whether the president should be offering British Jews asylum in the U.S.,” he told The Telegraph. “It is certainly not an unattractive proposition.”

He continued, “It is a highly educated community. It is a populous that speaks English natively, that is educated and doesn’t have a high proportion of criminals. There were conversations.”

Garson, who specializes in prison protection, accused Starmer of having “a lack of political will” to invoke the Public Order Act to quell anti-Israel protestors and the Crown Prosecution Service of failing to charge protestors “on the streets of Britain who had glorified in the rape or death of Jews” after the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas terror assault on Israel.

“Keir Starmer has turned a total blind eye to anti-Semitism,” Garson said. “The Prime Minister has allowed rampant antisemitism to become commonplace in society and has allowed it to come from those who really don’t have Britain’s best interests at heart.”

He also took purpose at Britain’s growing Muslim neighborhood, boldly claiming, “Mark my words, they are coming for the Jews and then they are coming for your pubs. You are going to have Sharia-compliant areas very, very soon.”

He added, “In Britain, why has the IRGC [Iran’s military] never been banned, and why hasn’t the Muslim Brotherhood been sanctioned?”
