Vance calls out Israel for wanting Iran war to | Political News

Vice President J.D. Vance accused members of Israel’s authorities of “manipulating” the American public to continue the Iran war in a new interview.

“There are some people within their system we know beyond a shadow of a doubt who are manipulating and trying to change American public opinion to keep the war going on indefinitely,” Vance said on a new episode of the Joe Rogan Podcast.

He added that Israel is “losing the battle of public opinion” in the U.S.

“Right now, Israel is losing the public opinion battle in the United States of America. It is a simple and obvious fact. Donald Trump has said that publicly,” Vance added.

In another clip, Vance, still on the subject of Iran, said that the U.S. wouldn’t have an “indefinite” war.

“We’re not just going to do something in Iran indefinitely. We’re not just going to bomb and bomb and bomb; we’re going to use our military force as one of the many tools we have to solve the problem,” Vance said.

Vance’s feedback come as Iran and the U.S. are under elevated tensions as the delicate ceasefire between the 2 international locations seems to be collapsing amid renewed navy strikes.

President Donald Trump imposed a naval blockade on Iran on Wednesday, and airstrikes have intensified in retaliation for Tehran’s assaults on ships making an attempt to go through the Strait of Hormuz.

The renewed strikes might level to a return to all-out war between the 2 international locations.

U.S. Central Command confirmed Wednesday that the U.S. initiated sweeping strikes hitting dozens of targets in a single day.

Strikes resumed during the daytime, and another cluster of strikes restarted late Wednesday, marking the third time in 24 hours.

Wednesday marks the fifth consecutive day that US forces have launched strikes against Iran.

Trump told Fox News Tuesday evening that the U.S. would goal energy plants and bridges in Iran next week, unless Iran comes to the negotiating desk. “Next week it gets really bad for them,” he told the outlet.

“Next week comes the bridges. We’re going to knock out all their power plants. We’re going to knock out all their bridges unless they get to the table and negotiate.”
