A lip reader has unveiled the tense exchange between the Beckham household that occurred at the premiere of David Beckham‘s documentary collection, Beckham. Footage from the glittering event has resurfaced online and is being re-examined following Brooklyn Beckham‘s bombshell allegations about his household, which had been dropped on his Instagram Stories on Monday night.
Speaking on behalf of Covers.com, forensic lip reader Nicola Hickling analysed footage from the red-carpet event, held in London in October 2023, where David, 50, and Victoria, 51, attended alongside all 4 of their kids, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper. Within the clip, Brooklyn could be seen talking quietly to Romeo, and Nicola said he seems to say: “I hated it.”
She believes his comment referred to the moments just prior and said Brooklyn is either uncomfortable standing beside his dad and mom at the event for images, or it is linked to an earlier interplay in which the 26-year-old reached toward David, who appeared to step back and flinch. Just moments later, Brooklyn provides: “She’s in tears.”
Based on Brooklyn’s eye line and the best way he appears to be like in the direction of his spouse, Nicola Peltz Beckham, the lip reader believes he’s referring to his spouse.
“Brooklyn’s eyes look so heavy, whilst trying to put on a facade of seeming to be okay,” she explains. “Whatever happened before they arrived at the premiere, something went down.”
Later on, Victoria turns her back on the photographers as Cruz and Harper make their means to a picture wall, and she seemingly says: “I need you to tell them, they can’t do that, if they do, it’s over for them.”
She added: “Victoria is very tense when she sees Brooklyn and Nicola heading to the wall; she looks straight past them.”
The lip reader also catches the previous Spice Girl partially protecting her mouth as she tells her assistant: “What a nightmare.” At this second, she’s gesturing toward Nicola and Brooklyn.
Victoria and David haven’t issued any public statements on Brooklyn’s claims, and they’ve been contacted by Express.co.uk for remark.
