Anything can happen when attending a wrestling event, but no person in attendance at a wrestling show in California anticipated to see MMA legend and fan-favorite Rampage Jackson‘s son brutally assault a man within an inch of his life.

Raja Jackson was invited to a KnokX Pro Wrestling Academy event, where he can be given a small half to play in the result of Syko Stu’s match. Instead, Jackson took his anger out on Stu from an earlier incident between the 2, and unleashed a barrage of devastating blows while Stu’s nearly lifeless physique lay unconscious on the canvas.

The disturbing footage was streamed live on Kick, though both Jackson himself and the heinous video have been eliminated from the platform. Despite their prior spat, Jackson’s actions have been a clear malicious act that most consider can never be justified or defended by anyone who has witnessed the horrific video.

Syko Stu was bludgeoned against his will in an assault that nearly price him his life.

KnokX Pro Wrestling has since shared a assertion, confirming that Raja Jackson took it upon himself to dish out that sort of punishment.

“First and foremost, our thoughts and prayers are with our brother Mr. Stuart Smith (Syko Stu) as he remains a priority and we are monitoring his well-being,” a assertion from KnokX Pro Wrestling read.

“What was supposed to be a planned and agreed-upon wrestling spot, turned into a selfish, irresponsible act of violence against Mr. Smith.”

“This egregious act is reprehensible and never should have occurred. In the 17 years of operation of KnokX Pro Wrestling Academy, there has never been anything as heinous take place such as this, and we apologize to our patrons and fans.”

The viral assault introduced Raja Jackson deserved heat, but his father, former UFC mild heavyweight champion Rampage Jackson, has offered an update in protection of his son.

“I want to clear up the misinformation about my son Raja,” Rampage said. “I’ve been confirmed that the wrestler (Stuart Smith, aka Syko Stu) is awake and stable.”

“Raja was unexpectedly hit in the side of the head by him moments before Smith’s match. Raja was told that he could get his “payback” in the ring, I thought it was a part of the show.”

“It was bad judgment, and a work that went wrong. Raja is an MMA fighter, not a pro wrestler, and had no business [being] involved in an event like this. I don’t condone my son’s actions AT ALL!”

Rampage later explained why the sudden act of violence could have occurred.

“He suffered a concussion from sparring only days ago and had no business doing anything remotely close to physical contact.”

“As a father, I’m deeply concerned with his health AND the well-being of Mr. Smith. That being said, I’m very upset that any of this happened, but my main concern now is that Mr. Smith will make a speedy recovery. I apologize on his behalf and to KICK for the situation.”
