Robert Irwin leaves fans in tears as he honors | TV Shows

Australian wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin made fans emotional when he briefly honored his late father, Steve Irwin, during his debut on Dancing with the Stars this week.

ABC‘s hit dancing competitors show kicked off its twentieth anniversary during Season 34’s premiere on Sept. 16. The new forged, which incorporates 21-year-old Irwin, Jordan Chiles, Hilaria Baldwin, and Corey Feldman, among others, didn’t disappoint while exhibiting off their first dance strikes in their battle for the Mirrorball trophy.

While some fans raged over technical difficulties and awkward blunders, others had been preventing back tears as they noticed Irwin’s blink-and-you’ll-miss-it tribute to his late father during his first-ever dance on DWTS.

Irwin and professional dancer Witney Carson had the last dance of the night time, a jive set to Born to be Wild.

While the efficiency shocked everybody at home, it was Irwin’s fast pose to the digicam that had some crying.

At one level during his dance, Irwin jumped over Carson’s head before excitedly raising both fists upward, the very same pose his father used to do.

One fan who seen the nod uploaded a clip of the second to TikTok alongside a photograph of Steve doing the same pose.

The individual emotionally reacted to the transfer, writing, “Not Robert Irwin honouring his dad’s iconic pose week 1 on DWTS [crying emoji].”

“My husband is the biggest Steve Irwin fan and told me this and I’m gonna go cry now,” the fan added in the caption.

Fellow fans flocked to the video’s feedback, including fellow Wildlife Warriors and Jersey Shore star Nicole “Snookie” Polizzi, who wrote, “I was hysterically crying.”

“Goosebumps every time,” another wrote, as a third added, “I actually cried when I saw his dance. Steve would be so proud and impressed.”

“When I saw this I had instant chills,” a fourth agreed, while another person penned, “Steve would be so proud of his babies.”

Irwin and Carson’s efficiency went on to rating 15 out of 20. It included a number of other tributes to Australia Zoo and his father’s legacy.

The dance started with him crouched on a jeep carrying his trademark khaki uniform, the very same one his father wore in all places he went.

At one level, the zookeeper regarded through a set of binoculars before leaping and ripping off his khaki top to reveal a tropical shirt beneath.

His household, who watched the efficiency from the entrance row of the viewers, excitedly applauded him as the routine ended.

Irwin rushed over to hug his sister, Bindi Irwin, who gained Season 21 with now-judge Derek Hough, while their mom, Terri, and Bindi’s husband, Chandler Powell, clapped.

“We just did that,” Irwin said as he confronted the judges, which featured only Hough and Bruno Toniolli. Carrie Ann Inaba backed out of the premiere due to sickness.

Toniolli said, “That wasn’t good… it was great, absolutely brilliant,” before awarding the companions 7 out of 10 for their routine.

Meanwhile, Hough gave the pair 8 out of 10 after saying, “You had some big shoes to fill with Bindi. You owned those shoes, my friend…that was probably the best first dance I have ever seen on this show.”

Unfortunately, though, some had been unable to vote for Irwin when a voting technical issue arose.

On Reddit, one individual fumed, “Couldn’t vote for Robert. On the screen it said text ‘irwin’ but wasn’t getting recognized until I had to look up Robert’s name. Hopefully it was just me but he did GREAT.”

Another added, “Voting got screwy at the end. I got a message 4 minutes after my last text saying that voting was closed. things that make you go hmmmm.” A 3rd replied, “Same none of mine went through.”
