United Airlines jets collide on O’Hare tarmac | Latest Travel News
CHICAGO (WGN) – Two United Airlines passenger jets collided on the tarmac at Chicago O’Hare International Airport Friday afternoon.
According to United Airlines, UA2652 was taxiing to its arrival gate when it made contact with the horizontal stabilizer of another United Airlines jet. The other jet was stationary and no passengers have been on board.
UA2652 was carrying 113 clients and 5 crew members at the time of the incident.

One passenger told Nexstar’s WGN they have been told they’d have to get off the airplane so it may very well be examined. The airline said all passengers have been in a position to deplane safely and with no accidents reported.
UA2652 is a Boeing 737, while the other airplane concerned was a Boeing 767, the airline specified.
