After spending two seasons building up to a battle and one major cliffhanger, it’s finally time for the Dance of the Dragons to begin on “House of the Dragon.”

The “Game of Thrones” prequel returns for its third season tonight, June 21, and it’ll be a bloody affair.

The Targaryen civil battle that the first two seasons led up to is finally right here, and showrunner Ryan Condal confirmed that the season will open with the notorious naval Battle of the Gullet from George R. R. Martin’s “Fire and visible injury” novel.
