Bradley Beal’s first season in Los Angeles received’t be getting a Hollywood ending.
The Clippers guard will bear season-ending surgical procedure on a hip fracture, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
“We met with numerous doctors and specialists around the country in collaboration with the entire Clippers medical staff over the last few days, and came to the decision unanimously that the surgery will allow Brad to have a full and complete recovery,” Beal’s agent, Mark Bartelstein, told ESPN.

The 32-year-old sat out Monday’s sport against the Hawks as the crew labored to determine the extent of his injury, believed to have been suffered last Thursday in a loss to the Suns.
The hip ailment ends what has been a tough Los Angeles debut for Beal, who signed a two-year, $11 million deal in the offseason after being purchased out by Phoenix.
In six video games to start the season, he’s averaged 8.2 factors and 1.7 assists — profession lows for a participant with profession marks of 21.4 factors and 4 assists per sport — as Los Angeles has endured a disappointing 3-7 start, falling to twelfth in the Western Conference.
Beal, a three-time All-Star with the Wizards from 2012-23, failed to live up to expectations as half of a big three that featured Kevin Durant and Devin Booker, as accidents restricted him to 106 out of 164 doable video games, and the crew made it as far as the Western Conference semifinals in 2024.
