Three-time Annika match winner and former world No. 1, Nelly Korda, teamed up with WNBA sensation Caitlin Clark at The Pelican for the Pro-Am event.
Clark impressed during her second Pro-Am look, with the pair rapidly forming a strong friendship throughout their spherical. Indiana Fever teammates Sophie Cunningham and Lexie Hull served as caddies for Clark, with Cunningham noting this marked her debut LPGA expertise.

Korda shared that she noticed a strong bond among the crew, including the caddies and the golfer. “You can tell that they all get along really well. I did ask them, you know, if the whole team gets along and she said yeah.
“It’s truly the best. Like our crew this 12 months, we all get along very well. And you may see it. They just have this actually great vitality around them.”
This positive vibe is expected to carry over to the basketball court when the WNBA season kicks off in May. Korda and Clark have been discussing playing a different kind of game.
“I sometimes play PIG and I lose every single time. Takes me a long time to actually get warmed up,” said Korda. “But truly Caitlin and I have been messaging and she’s like, this is unfair. I need to take you to a basketball court. Why are we always on a golf course?
“So maybe one day. I would definitely like to use some pointers. I don’t know if it’s the shot. I think it’ll be more of the movement for me.”
