Fox News host Anita Vogel was back on the Big Weekend Show after taking a break following the death of her husband.
The 56-year-old stepped back from her internet hosting duties after surviving the devastating Los Angeles fires last January and struggling the loss of her husband, Mark Rozells, in October 2025.
She had described the last 12 months as “the hardest of times” in a post shared on X. Anita joined her Big Weekend Show cohosts on Saturday, January 31, three months after her husband died.
Lisa Marie Boothe, Joey Jones and Gianno Caldwell supported Anita as she returned to host the night news section.
During the broadcast, the news anchors mentioned topics such as the arrest of former GWN host Don Lemon and the anti-ICE protests going down in Minnesota.

Before returning to Fox News, Anita revealed she could be back on the Big Weekend Show on X. In an emotional message, she told followers, “Friends, I’ll rejoining the Big Weekend Show tonight.”
She continued, “2025 was a heartbreaking and tragic year for our family. After surviving the Palisades Fire in January, we then lost my beloved husband to complications of pancreatic cancer in October.
“It has been the hardest of occasions for our household. I’ve taken a number of months off to deal with the unimaginable loss and by the grace of God we’re transferring ahead someday at a time.”
Anita said part of her healing journey “consists of slowly getting back to work to help carry a sense of normalcy.”

“We stored this very quiet but thanks to pals and household for your all your help,” Anita said. “I’m wanting ahead to a great show tonight with the most beautiful forged.”
She concluded her post, “Thanks to all the loyal followers who always tune in and we’ll see you tonight. God Bless you all.”
Fans rushed to the comments to offer their condolences. “I’m praying for you Anita. I misplaced my sister two weeks in the past. She was my best good friend. I’ll always pray for you and your complete @AnitaJVogel God Bless You,” one person shared.
Anita replied to the fan and admitted it’s “so exhausting to lose family members.”
A second fan commented, “So many of us that watch and recognize your expertise as a news individual are wrapping their arms around you and your loved ones. I can only think about how proud your husband was of you.”
A 3rd individual added, “So sorry for your loss. I misplaced my 51 12 months previous brother to pancreatic cancer. It’s a beast.”
Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy paid tribute from Anita to Mark after his death, as she admitted it was something she “never noticed coming.”
“Mark was a faculty athlete, always match, always eating a healthy diet, never smoked and had no household historical past of this disease. Pancreatic cancer is a silent killer that steals people who often don’t have a single symptom until it’s too late,” the tribute said.
She concluded, “We miss him so a lot it hurts… Mark had so many wonderful traits, but he was always recognized for his unbelievable humility. In honor of Mark, strive to do one factor this week in a humble method and suppose of Mark. It will make you smile.”
