Donald Trump has announced that a “massive” military advanced is being constructed beneath the $300 million White House ballroom project.

Speaking to reporters on Sunday, the president said, “There’s not one dime of government money going into the ballroom. Now, the military is building a big complex under the ballroom, which has come out recently because of a stupid lawsuit that was filed. But the military is building a massive complex under the ballroom and that’s under construction and we’re doing very well. So we’re ahead of schedule.”

No official affirmation of an underground bunker or advanced has yet emerged, despite Trump speaking about the ballroom and the circulation of unverified reviews by retailers including GWN, reviews Mirror US.

Some of the more hanging allegations have come from Trump’s own niece, who claimed months in the past that the president is exploiting the demolition of the East Wing and the ballroom construction to covertly develop the White House bunker, pushed by what she described as his “paranoid” tendencies.

Trump had beforehand said that his ballroom “wouldn’t interfere with the current building” when he unveiled it as a $200 million project earlier this 12 months.

However, the nation was left surprised last week when his administration demolished your entire East Wing as construction of the now $300 million ballroom received underway.

During his Cabinet assembly on Thursday, Trump beforehand said: “This ballroom is gonna be something. It’s so beautiful for this city, so desperately needed by presidents. I get sued over a ballroom that’s the most beautiful ballroom in the country. You won’t have tents sitting on the wet White House lawn – if it rains, you get wiped out – to honor the president of China or the president of France.”

While Trump has yet to affirm specifics, it is widely assumed that military necessities will issue into the design of the construction. This hypothesis stems from the controversial demolition of the East Wing in October to accommodate Trump’s $400 million ballroom project, which reportedly resulted in the destruction of an emergency operations bunker situated beneath it.

The bunker was initially constructed beneath the East Wing in 1941 to safeguard President Franklin D. Roosevelt in case of an aerial assault on Washington, D.C. during World War II.

The East Wing historically functioned as headquarters for the first girl and her workers, but the building also contained an emergency bunker. Sources told CBS News that during construction, “the bunker will receive upgrades.”

Though initially designed as a bomb shelter, the subterranean services expanded over the a long time to fulfill varied roles, ultimately housing the Presidential Emergency Operations Center (PEOC), a centralized command hub for the president and his interior circle – engineered to survive a potential nuclear strike or other catastrophic assault.

However, a source acquainted with the state of affairs informed GWN this week that the previously submarine-like bunker is now in all probability present process renovations and being geared up with up to date technology to counter rising threats.

During a latest National Capital Planning Commission assembly, White House director of management and administration Joshua Fisher explained while discussing the ballroom that the project will “(enhance) mission critical functionality,

“make crucial security enhancements” and “(ship) resilient, adaptive infrastructure aligned with future mission wants.”

When asked why the East Wing demolition proceeded without the commission’s authorization, he attributed it to “top-secret” operations occurring below ground.

“There are some issues relating to this project that are, frankly, of top-secret nature that we’re presently working on. That doesn’t preclude us from altering the above-grade construction, but that work needed to be thought-about when doing this project, which was not half of the NCPC course of,” he said.
