President Donald Trump brutally mocked NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman for his ears during a latest look at the White House with the Artemis II crew.

The president took questions from the Oval Office on Wednesday as the 4 astronauts from the Artemis II space mission stood behind him, without uttering a single phrase.

One reporter requested Trump whether or not he would think about relocating NASA’s headquarters out of the nation’s capital and into states with space facilities, such as Texas and Florida.

He redirected the query to the NASA administrator, and Trump couldn’t help but mock the manager’s bodily options.

“Well, the best man to tell you that is the man sitting right over him,” Trump said as Isaacman stood in the nook of the Oval Office, next to the Artemis II crew.

“You heard that question? With those beautiful ears of yours,” Trump said. “He’s got great hearing, you know, super hearing, he’s got super hearing.”

While Isaacman laughed off the feedback, the astronauts appeared to discover the joke unassuming, as they all stood sternly behind the president’s desk.

Users on social media have been in disbelief about the president’s brutal remark, with some deeming it unprofessional.

“Wow, thought this was one of those parody posts at first. Video is even worse,” one shocked person commented about the interplay.

“The only thing unbelievable about that interaction is Trump deferring to someone who knows more about a specific topic than him,” another person said.

“I feel so bad for these four brave astronauts having to stand there behind a complete nutcase. To think that they just returned from such an amazing, historic flight to the far side of the Moon, and back again, to have to be in such a disgusting presence of Trump,” a third person wrote.

Commander Reid Wiseman, pilot Victor Glover, mission specialist Christina Koch, and Canadian mission specialist Jeremy Hansen met with Trump nearly three weeks after they splashed down off the coast of San Diego. The crew had spent 10 days in space, touring farther than any human had ever traveled.

Wednesday’s assembly was not the first time the crew spoke to the commander-in-chief. In fact, the president spoke to the astronauts during the mission to congratulate them on their voyage and invite them to the presidential residence.

“I’ll ask [NASA Administrator] Jared [Isaacman] to bring you over, and I’ll ask for your autograph because I don’t really ask for autographs much, but you deserve that,” the president said during a live-streamed telephone dialog.

“You really are something,” Trump continued. “Everybody’s talking about this, and I look forward to having you in the Oval Office at the White House, and we will celebrate your incredible achievements and triumphs.”

During that dialog, Koch recounted to the president how she felt after observing the far aspect of the moon and being disconnected from NASA’s control middle on Earth for about 40 minutes.

“I think one of the biggest highlights was coming back from the far side of the moon and having the first glimpses of planet Earth again after being out of communication for about 45 minutes,” she said. “It really just reminds you what a special place we have and how important it is for our nation to lead and not follow in exploring deep space.”

The journey was the first manned moon mission in over 50 years, and it comes in preparation for NASA’s plan to put two astronauts on the moon in 2028.
