An Antiques Roadshow guest was left shocked when an professional shared the true worth of her inherited treasures. On Sunday night (July 5), the BBC show revisited Powis Castle and Garden in Wales, where professional Geoffrey Munn found a small jewellery assortment “of the highest quality” with rubies and diamonds courting from the 1700s.

He went on to worth the butterfly brooch between £8,000 and £10,000, with the ultimate piece at £15,000, leaving the guest astonished.
“They’re marvellous things, they’re not showy, they’re utterly beautiful expressions of an era gone by and that’s what we’re looking for really,” Geoffrey concluded.
