Salman Khan returns to playback singing after 11 | Indian Movie News
Salman Khan has returned to playback singing after more than a decade with his latest monitor, ‘Teri intimacyy Beauty’ from his upcoming movie Maatrubhumi. The tune was launched in the early hours of Wednesday on the Salman Khan Films Music YouTube channel, including to the movie’s growing music album.
The music video opens with glimpses of Salman getting into a recording studio, placing on his headphones and singing the monitor. Meanwhile, Chitrangda Singh is seen taking part in the guitar in a pink sari. The tune options the lyrics, “Teri sexy beauty ka fan ban gaya hu man, main do peg pee ke aeroplane ban gaya hu.”
Set inside an aeroplane hangar, the video options Chitrangda and background dancers dressed as air hostesses in pink outfits, with some of them also seen taking part in the trumpet. Salman is seen dancing alongside a group of males who seem to be his fellow troopers having fun with some time off. He later joins Chitrangda on the dance ground. In the movie, the actress performs his spouse, marking the first time the 2 actors have been paired together on screen.
Written and composed by Sajid Khan, ‘Teri intimacyy Beauty’ options Muskaan on feminine vocals. Salman’s return to singing comes 11 years after his earlier playback contributions to movies. He has earlier lent his voice to tracks such as ‘Main Hoon Hero Tera’ from Nikkhil Advani’s 2015 movie Hero and ‘Hangover’ from Sajid Nadiadwala’s 2014 motion comedy Kick.
With this release, the makers have unveiled 5 songs from Maatrubhumi, although the movie’s theatrical release date is yet to be announced. The album also consists of the patriotic title monitor, composed by Himesh Reshammiya, written by Sameer Anjaan and sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Arijit Singh. Other songs embrace ‘Main Hoon’, composed and sung by Ayaan Lall with vocals by Ghoshal and lyrics by Shabbir Ahmed, and ‘Chand Dekh Lena’, that includes vocals by Nihal Tauro and Ankona Mukherjee. Another patriotic quantity, (*11*), written by Sameer and composed by Reshammiya, was launched last month with Stebin Ben on vocals. ‘Teri intimacyy Beauty’ is the fifth monitor and the peppiest quantity from the movie so far.
Produced by Salman Khan Films and directed by Apoorva Lakhia, Maatrubhumi has been awaiting its release following reported considerations surrounding its portrayal of the Indo-China battle. Initially titled Battle of Galwan, the movie is based on the 2020 conflict between Indian and Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley of Eastern Ladakh. It was subsequently renamed Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace.
Reports also instructed that parts of the movie had been reshot to introduce a family-drama angle instead of holding the narrative strictly targeted on the army battle. Following the reshoots, the movie is yet to obtain a screening date with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). It was initially scheduled to arrive in theatres in April this 12 months, but the makers haven’t announced a revised release date so far.
