Abigail Spanbergers SOTU Rebuttal Was Just Plain

Having just watched Democrats beclown themselves at the State of the Union tackle, a clearly-nervous and fidgety Abigail Spanberger – the new governor of Virginia – had the unenviable activity of making an attempt to put a constructive spin on her social gathering’s dire and decidedly unpatriotic habits. Like all Democrats, when confronted with espousing how her social gathering’s insurance policies help on a regular basis Americans, she merely resorted to attacking President Trump. The entire factor was fairly bizarre.

Spanberger had a few causes to be nervous. She was the follow-up act to Trump’s barnburner of a speech that noticed the president rejoice the best of America while also calling out Democrats for their skewed priorities, significantly when it comes to prioritizing unlawful immigration over the protection of American residents. 

Secondly, she was under fire from the left for selecting to ship the official Democrat response from Colonial Williamsburg … because slavery? She is aware of who put her in the Governor’s Mansion, so she might have been feeling the beady eyes of the unconventional left on her as she spoke from the House of Burgesses.

As anticipated, the central theme of Spanberger’s speech was to hammer the president on “affordability.” The girl who is at present opening a floodgate of new taxes on Virginians – including taxes on Uber rides, mattress recycling, and DoorDash deliveries – said, “The President’s reckless policies are making life more expensive for American families. Yet Republicans in Congress remain unwilling to stand up to him. The American people deserve better.”

So do Virginians.

(It ought to also be famous that large companies, probably sensing a looming affordability disaster in Democrat-controlled Virginia, are already hightailing it out of the commonwealth.)

Spanberger also had phrases of reward for the “brave people of Minnesota” for foolishly endangering lives in order to stop federal immigration officers from eradicating violent illegals from their communities. This was not stunning in the least since her first act in workplace was to nuke Virginia’s cooperation with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

The White House had some ideas on this.

FACT: Weeks after changing into Governor, she swiftly terminated Virginia’s settlement with ICE, halting state law enforcement cooperation with federal immigration enforcement — giving felony unlawful alien killers, rapists, and gangbangers a go.

FACT: During her time in Congress, she repeatedly undermined border security by voting againstthe Secure the Border Act, supporting a pathway to citizenship for more than two million unlawful aliens, co-sponsoring an amnesty invoice for thousands and thousands of illegals, and twice voting to terminate President Trump’s national emergency declaration at the southern border.

Overall, the factor that was most noticeable about Spanberger’s response was just how bizarre the entire thing was, particularly the stilted applause from the gang. It was as if every second was scripted down to the second in order to keep her on observe.

Most SOTU responses are failures; however, the 3-second applause restrict on Abigail Spanberger’s speech was just downright dangerous.

As PinkState has beforehand reported, the selection of Spanberger to ship the State of the Union rebuttal was supposed to introduce her to a national viewers. Democrats see her as a rising star who may have a big impression on the 2026 and 2028 elections – probably as a candidate in the latter.
