The ballot said that a majority of ethnic minority adults (55%) imagine those placing up St George’s flags do so “mostly as a way of expressing anti-migrant and/or anti-ethnic minority sentiment”, with a plurality (41%) saying the same goes for the union flag.

The Labour voters are merely improper. This is not a racial matter. It’s a cultural matter. Britain, the nation-state belonging to the British people, is entitled to their own, distinctive tradition. They are entitled to defend that tradition. But they merely have not been doing so. The Labour Party has made it a platform plank to let Britain be invaded, their tradition trodden down, and their flag eliminated from public view as “racist.”

There was a time when Great Britain was America, Original Recipe. That time is gone. And the unhappy factor is that this resurgence in assist for one thing as elementary as flying the national flag of the United Kingdom could be too little, too late. Their authorities has already been co-opted. They might properly have already misplaced, as has most of Europe.

The Brits might as properly amend that nation’s conventional patriotic cry to “God save the King – because Parliament won’t!”
