Country music star says he was almost decapitated in | Music News

A rising nation music star has revealed that he was almost brutally decapitated in a horrific car crash.

Singer Hardy’s fame has been more and more skyrocketing ever since he launched his debut single, Rednecker, in 2019, adopted by his 2020 album A Rock, which featured the No. 1 hit One Beer with Devin Dawson and Lauren Alaina.

However, the 35-year-old, born Michael Wilson Hardy, may’ve been making waves in the nation music world because his life would’ve been cut approach too short.

During an interview with Rolling Stone on their Nashville Now podcast (per Penn Live), Hardy explained that he and his crew had been in a severe car accident back in 2022 after his tour bus left the roadway along I-40 West to Nashville after a show in Bristol, Tennessee.

The bus was reportedly touring at 70 miles per hour at the time and flipped a number of occasions before stopping in the woods.

All 4 members on board and the bus driver survived the crash, though.

However, Hardy did undergo a laceration on his head and a fractured back, according to Whiskey Riff, but the crash may have been a lot worse.

“It went from being a bus to a movie set, like a bomb went off,” Hardy recalled of the crash. “I crawled out of the front windshield, which was busted open. The bus had gone so far down the hill that you couldn’t see it from the highway.

“So, all these vans and vehicles had been flying by, and they couldn’t see us. I had a black hoodie with a big white circle on it, and all I may assume to do was take that hoodie off and strive to wave people down.

“I did that for 30 minutes, and I could not get somebody to stop.”

He then revealed just how a lot worse his horrible crash may have been.
