Drake White and his spouse Alex White have announced they’re mourning the death of their newborn daughter.

The couple took to Instagram on Sunday to share the heartbreaking news with followers. In a prolonged post, Drake and Alex revealed their daughter died just 20 minutes after she was born.

“On Sunday, August thirty first our valuable daughter, Della Elizabeth White, went peacefully to be with Jesus. We are so grateful for the holy moments God gave us with her,” they shared.

The assertion continued, “The Lord has been so near and close to us during this difficult time. He has held us up and sustained us through it all.

“We are heartbroken and soul drained, but we all know we are going to get through this troublesome time with the strength, peace, and pleasure that only our Heavenly Father can present. May Della be held in the arms of Jesus until we see her again sometime.”

Their fans and friends have been offering their condolences in the comments, with singer Alyssa Bonagura writing, “Lord Jesus, we ask you to be with Drake & Alex proper now and maintain them in your arms, Flood them with your love. Help them step by step in the times, months, and years forward Lord. In Jesus Name, Amen. Sending yall all my love.”
