Curtis Sliwa slams Mamdani and Cuomo in Halloween | TV Shows

Republican NYC Mayoral candidate Curtis Sliwa, who has beforehand been urged to drop out of the race, appeared in a weird rant in the New York City subway on Halloween, which took intention at his opponents, Andrew Cuomo and Zohran Mamdani.

Sliwa has been polling in a distant third behind the Democratic Socialist candidate, who received the first for his get together in June, and the previous Governor, who stayed in the race as an Independent after dropping that same race.

And while Mamdani, who has been a favourite to win for months, is dealing with some plummets in his numbers as Cuomo positive aspects ground, he’s still largely believed to be on a path to victory.

However, Sliwa, 71, is still in the race, and with the voters set to elect one of the boys to the job in just a few days’ time, he opted to take one of his boldest approaches yet as he slammed his adversaries.

Taking to the Subway system on Halloween, he delivered a holiday-themed handle devoted to his spouse, who he said cherished it, which also in contrast Cuomo and Mamdani to a zombie and a vampire.

“We have a very special trick or treat gift…these signs that were created specifically for Andrew Cuomo and Zohran Momdani,” he said, as he was surrounded by supporters holding posters of the 2 in Halloween-appropriate costumes, with Cuomo showing to be a mummy and Mamdani dressed as a blood-sucking vampire.

“Trick or Treat! Cuomo wants to trick you about his record as Governor, like a Zombie who, when he goes down, they come back from the dead,” he said. “He wants to keep his record under wraps. You can’t. 15,00 elderly died because of his executive orders during Covid and all the pro-crime statutes he signed into law…He tricked you, he’s trying to trick the voters.”

He then turned his consideration toward Mamdani.

“Zohran Mamdani, who’s had a meteoric rise in the Democratic Party as a socialist…he has offered treats, treats, treats, treats,” Sliwa said. “Free! Free! Free! Free! Free! But we know nothing’s for free. And just like a vampire, like Dracula, Mamdani wants to treat everyone to freebies, while taxpayers pick up the tab. It will suck the taxpayers dry.”

“To be able to pay for free buses, universal childcare, all the other social programs he has said will cost the taxpayers nothing, he is clearly Dracula the Vampire,” Sliwa continued. “And we see Andrew Cuomo is the political zombie who has come back from the dead.”

“Enjoy it Cuomo, Enjoy it Zohran Mamdani, because your tricks or your treats will not work,” he completed.

The weird rant got here as Sliwa still faces calls to drop out, including from Cuomo, who called for him to exit the competitors to consolidate opposition votes against Mamdani.

It comes as Mamdani still instructions with a double-digit lead in polls.
