Dave Portnoy not a fan of Yankees wild card…
Consider Dave Portnoy unimpressed.
As the Yankees celebrated their wild-card collection win over the Red Sox with a boozy clubhouse get together Thursday night time, the Barstool Sports bigwig and famous Boston sports activities fan wasn’t holding back his emotions.
“Yankees celebrating wild card with champagne,” he wrote on X. “Poverty franchise.”
There was lots of get together to around in the Bronx, where rookie Cam Schlittler dazzled in his first postseason start, throwing eight innings of five-hit ball, ending with 12 strikeouts and no walks in the 4-0 win.
Schlittler, 24 and a Walpole, Mass. native, had the whole lot of Yankee Stadium — all 48,833 of the sold-out venue — behind him as the Bombers grew to become the third crew (including 2020) to win a wild-card collection after dropping Game 1.

Having all the collection performed in the Bronx was another level of competition for Portnoy.
“Also not making excuses but the 3 games at one field in the wild card is such Jv little league bulls—t it’s not even funny,” the “Fox Big Noon Kickoff” analyst posted to X.

The Yankees received’t get to get pleasure from that benefit going ahead.
They start their best-of-five collection with the Blue Jays north of the border in Toronto for two video games at the Rogers Centre.
Portnoy’s only curiosity in the collection now is getting eyes on Barstool’s livestream of the event after he introduced in Red Sox podcaster Hogdale to rival his company’s Yankees followers.
“Gonna see who I can dig up from Toronto to make people care about our Yankee fans in the office for the next round,” he wrote.
