Donald Trump has vowed to restart the construction of the Keystone XL crude oil pipeline after it was scrapped by Joe Biden over fears about its affect on climate change.

He added: “If not them, perhaps another Pipeline Company. We want the Keystone XL Pipeline built!”
Plans for Keystone XL had been first shot down in 2015 by Barack Obama, who argued that greenlighting the project would show the U.S. just isn’t taking “serious action” on assembly climate targets.
“Frankly, approving that project would have undercut that global leadership, and that is the biggest risk we face: not acting,” he stated on the time.
But it was quickly accepted by his successor, Trump, earlier than the Biden administration moved to shut it down on day one of the Democrat reaching the Oval Office in 2021.
