U.S. President Donald Trump posted a scathing, prolonged message to Truth Social on Sunday, in which he criticized Ukrainian management for seemingly not showing to categorical gratitude for American peacekeeping efforts.

Throughout the post, Trump labeled the Russia–Ukraine conflict as “violent and terrible,” including that it could have never occurred with “strong and proper U.S. and Ukrainian leadership.”

“I INHERITED A WAR THAT SHOULD HAVE NEVER HAPPENED, A WAR THAT IS A LOSER FOR EVERYONE, ESPECIALLY THE MILLIONS OF PEOPLE THAT HAVE SO NEEDLESSLY DIED.” Trump wrote on the conservative social media platform just after 9:00 a.m. EST.

“UKRAINE ‘LEADERSHIP’ HAS EXPRESSED ZERO GRATITUDE FOR OUR EFFORTS, AND EUROPE CONTINUES TO BUY OIL FROM RUSSIA. THE USA CONTINUES TO SELL MASSIVE $AMOUNTS OF WEAPONS TO NATO, FOR DISTRIBUTION TO UKRAINE (CROOKED JOE GAVE EVERYTHING, FREE, FREE, FREE, INCLUDING ‘BIG’ MONEY!). GOD BLESS ALL THE LIVES THAT HAVE BEEN LOST IN THE HUMAN CATASTROPHE! President DJT,” he continued.

Although not named, it’s seemingly that Trump was concentrating on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky when he made his claims about “Ukrainian leadership.”

Trump also blamed his inheriting of the conflict on his predecessor, Joe Biden. He also reasserted his already debunked claims of the 2020 U.S. election being “rigged,” asserting that if he had gained that election, the conflict wouldn’t have began with him in workplace.

“The War between Russia and Ukraine is a violent and terrible one that, with strong and proper U.S. and Ukrainian LEADERSHIP, would have NEVER HAPPENED,” Trump wrote.

“It began long before I took office for a Second Term, during the Sleepy Joe Biden Administration, and has only gotten worse. If the 2020 Presidential Election was not RIGGED & STOLEN, the only thing the Radical Left Democrats are good at doing, there would be no Ukraine/Russia War, as there wasn’t, not even a mention, during my first Term in Office,” he wrote.

“Putin would never have attacked! It was only when he saw Sleepy Joe in action that he said, ‘Now is my chance!’ The rest is history, and so it continues,” he added.

Trump’s criticism of Ukrainian management on Sunday comes just at some point after he told reporters at the White House that his 28-point peace plan to end the Russia-Ukraine conflict shouldn’t be his last offer to Zelensky.

“No, not my final offer,” Trump said after a reporter questioned if it was his last offer to Ukraine. It has led to hypothesis that Trump might revise key phrases in the peace offer. It had beforehand been reported that Zelensky had until Thanksgiving to agree on the phrases.

Parts of the plan call for Ukraine to cede territory, keep away from becoming a member of NATO, and restrict the dimensions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to 600,000 personnel.

In exchange, Russia would relinquish smaller parts of land it occupies in other areas, sources point out.

Defense analysts from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) argue that the 28-point plan wouldn’t obtain peace but would instead encourage additional Russian aggression.
