Fox News cuts off broadcast to show Trumps brain | TV Shows

Fox News abruptly interrupted a broadcast on Wednesday to switch to Donald Trump‘s speech at an Artificial Intelligence Summit. However, their habit of breaking into broadcasts for news about the President – except for stories they opt not to cover-backfired with viewers this time.

The network, renowned for its pro-Trump coverage and conservative slant, frequently interrupts broadcasts with breaking news or to offer viewers a peek at live events where the President is speaking.

However, this time, Trump, who is still dealing with turmoil among his base over the Jeffrey Epstein files, which a judge in Florida ruled could not be unsealed as a House panel subpeonaed the Justice Department, seemed to elicit chuckles from home viewers rather than applause.

The broadcast cut into The Five, featuring Jesse Watters, Dana Perino, and Greg Gutfeld, along with rotating liberal hosts.

On this occasion, the other hosts were Jessica Tarlov and Harold Ford. Jr, reports the Mirror US.

The show’s hosts were cut off because Trump was delivering a speech at an AI summit in Washington, where he signed executive orders aimed at reducing regulations on the technology.

Regrettably for the President, the broadcast cut in at an embarrassing moment, as he seemed to ramble about his own “brain power.”

“Up here, the brain power,” he stated during the conference while pointing at his own head. “The greatest power of them all. The brain power.”

However, after a clip of the comment surfaced on social media, it seemed to spark fresh ridicule of the President, with many slamming him or making jokes about it.

“Trump’s cognitive abilities are about as good as a fish,” one person wrote on X (formerly Twitter), while another added “Certainly he can’t be referring to himself.

“Literally laughing our loud at his words about brain power. Murdoch wins today,” another shared, while others said “trump doesn’t have any brains” and “If brain power is the greatest power of them all, then Trump has no power.

“Oh yeah. The ‘brain power.’ Trump’s brain is so polluted by lies and corruption, he wouldn’t know the Truth if it came up and spit in his face,” another person said.

The remarks surfaced as his administration faced mounting backlash regarding the Epstein matter.

The strategy to make grand jury testimony public in a bid to satisfy frustrated constituents hit a snag when a judge declined to make the records available.

This development also followed reports that Attorney General Pam Bondi had alerted the President about his name appearing in the files before the administration chose against their release.
