Fox News hosts slam Gavin Newsoms Late Show | TV Shows

Fox News hosts laid into Gavin Newsom after he called out ICE on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

Last week, the Governor of California appeared on the hit discuss show to talk about a number of urgent points, like his state’s plan to fight the Trump administration.

During his dialogue with Colbert, he shed mild on ICE’s latest strikes in California and across the nation, saying, “masked men jumping out of unmarked cars, people disappearing, no due process.

“People ask, ‘Well, is authoritarianism, you’re being hyperbolic?’ Bulls— we’re being hyperbolic. If you’re a black and brown community, it’s here in this country,” he added.

The governor’s remark set off the hosts of The Big Weekend Show, who weighed in on his “deranged statements” on Monday, Sept. 29.

Tomi Lahren first identified, “His social media posts are even more unhinged and pathetic,” exhibiting some of his X posts that she claims make “antisemetic remarks against Stephen Miller while threatening to kick Kid Rock out of the Golden State.

“How low can Newsom go and why won’t anyone call him out?” she requested. “ Well, we will. I can promise you that one.

Lahren continued, “Joey, I find him to be not only pathetic but rather annoying.”

The host then claimed the governor is making an attempt to be like President Trump with a “new schtick” on social media, where he and his press group “tweet out in all caps and they’re trying to be provocative.”

“It actually surprises me that he’s leading the polls for the Democrats but when you look at who’s also on the list, it’s Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez so maybe it’s not that surprising,” she said, before turning the ground over to her co-host Johnny Joey Jones.

“I think, you know, beware,” he warned. “Beware of the guy with the slicked back hair who says the right thing and does none of them.”

“As far as his record, I don’t think he has a lot of water to carry,” Jones added.

Jones believes the people who have named him the frontrunner on Democrats‘ record of presidential contenders “don’t do a lot of research.”

Lahren interjected to state she might “list all the failures” he has had during his time working California.

“California is a total failure,” Jason Chaffetz also added. “This is the fundamental problem for Gavin Newsom.

He rationalized, “He is spending more time campaigning to try to become the president than taking care of, I don’t know, maybe the fire that happened there, and fixing that. Homelessness.”

Anita Vogel chimed in, “He’s coming off as very unserious.”

Taking her last dig at Newson, Lahren said, “He loves a camera. In fact, I don’t think he passes by many shiny services without taking a look.”
