Green Day has altered the lyrics to two of their most iconic songs in preparation for their upcoming Super Bowl efficiency.

Composed of Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, and Tré Cool, Green Day is set to carry out at the Super Bowl‘s opening ceremony on Sunday, February 8.

Before the 12 months’s greatest soccer event, Green Day carried out at Spotify’s The Fanduel Party at Pier 29 in San Francisco on Friday, February 6, where they performed a quantity of their most common songs.

However, the band used their efficiency to convey political messages by modifying the lyrics to two of their greatest hits, reviews the Irish Star.

Targeting Donald Trump during a rendition of American Idiot, Billie Joe Armstrong sang, “I’m not a part of the MAGA agenda,” changing the song’s unique line, “I’m not a part of a redneck agenda.”

The 53-year-old frontman then modified the lyrics to another Green Day basic, Holiday, switching the interlude from “The representative from California has the floor” to “The representative from Epstein Island has the floor.”

Additionally, prior to performing the monitor, Armstrong despatched it out to Minnesotans, saying, “This goes out to Minneapolis.”
