Phil Spencer has admitted there is one second from the filming of one of his shows that he needs he might change. Having offered Location, Location, Location since 2000, as properly as a quantity of other Channel 4 property programmes, the 56-year-old presenter has just about seen it all. While Phil acknowledged that issues inevitably go flawed when shopping for and promoting property, and insisted he wouldn’t change something, he revealed that there was one specific second he wished had turned out in a different way.

Speaking to Express.co.uk, Phil recalled turning up to view a property with his patrons and the digicam crew in East London, only to uncover it had already been offered at public sale. He said: “I called the agents and said, ‘Surely there must be a mistake because this was not sold yesterday? You can’t sell a house overnight.’ He said, ‘No. It is actually sold.'”

Phil,  who just lately grew to become an investor and board director for LodgesAndCaravans.ForSale, explained: “There was a modern method of auction where people put 10 per cent down and the deal is done there and then.

“That occurred in that state of affairs so there I was stood with my patrons and a digicam crew, but I could not go in because it was truly offered. That was awkward. I’d change that.”

Despite this, he added: “But it is the enjoyable of the truthful that sometimes it goes properly and sometimes it would not. We take the tough with the sleek. That’s househunting.

“Fortunately, we’ve been doing it long enough both professionally and on telly, so there aren’t too many situations we haven’t had to deal with at some point.”

Phil recounted: “We were looking after a couple in Scotland. I think that had gotten together slightly later in life. She was really keen on most of the houses, she would’ve brought any of them.

“He was very a lot a no and would not actually be drawn out into why so we have been beginning to barely pull our hair out. We took them into a home and he all of a sudden lit up. He beloved it.
