A Gladiators star has revealed what the show’s host Bradley Walsh is de facto like. “Like most of my generation, when I was younger, I absolutely loved watching Gladiators. I pretend to play all the games with my sister in the living room. When I was younger, I was very, very different from how I am now, so I didn’t like exercise, I didn’t eat healthily, and I didn’t have any confidence or anything like that.

“Watching Gladiators when I was youthful is what sparked all of the curiosity in health and fitness. How are they so strong? How are they so match? So, one of my largest objectives was to turn out to be a Gladiator.”

Speaking about Bradley and Barney Walsh, he said, “They’re wonderful. They’re just completely superior. They work so properly together. The entire Gladiator crew is just one big household, and we’re all supportive of each other.

“Yeah, Bradley and Barney are just a great sort of duo, and they’re so funny to be around, and it’s great getting in touch with them as well.”

Speaking forward of the new collection, Zack teased: “All I can say is, it’s bigger, it’s more entertaining, it’s absolutely amazing, and every year we’ve sort of leveled it up, but I don’t want to ruin anything for anyone, but you’re gonna have to watch the show.”

He added: “You can tell every year the contenders have done their homework. They’ve watched the games, they know how we play the games. It was the first time we really could see that the contenders knew how each Gladiator would play certain games.”
