Influencers roasted for hiring horrednous…

For Coachella, wannabe fashionistas are spending big bucks — but their “horrendous” ‘suits are forcing social media to ask, “What the literal f- -k?”

Quizzical eyebrows are being raised across the web as influencers, such as Montse Lewin, a content creator from Los Angeles, are paying tons of — or even 1000’s — to purported “Coachella stylists” for help trying haute and scorching throughout the two-weekend-long desert pageant.

It’s a yearly celebration of music, enjoyable and fashion — held from April 10 to 12 and April 17 to 19 — during which superstar VIPs and on a regular basis divas, alike, vie for the title of “best dressed.”

Leah Halton, a 24-year-old Australian siren, not only secured bragging rights as the live performance’s most trendy but was also topped “the most beautiful girl in the world.”

It’s an accolade she will be able to take to the bank.

Unfortunately for Lewin, however, her en vogue investment wasn’t precisely money nicely spent — and keyboard critics had no downside letting her realize it.

“I’m trying not to have a panic attack right now,” a crestfallen Lewin told over 5.3 million video viewers, preventing back tears while making an attempt on outfits curated by a “thrifting” skilled who despatched second-hand appears, along with styling instructions, via mail.

Attempting to mimic the bougie-bohemian essence of the fête, Lewin’s first ensemble consisted of a metallic gold bikini top, chocolate brown sequin skirt and an cheetah-print circle scarf, with which she didn’t know what to do.

“Not seeing the vision coming together,” the brunette whimpered, before swapping out the skirt with loose-fitting pants and an outsized belt. “I don’t know how I feel about this.”

Lewin then slipped into “Look No. 2,” a dishevelled pair of silver basketball shorts paired with a “vintage” graphic t-shirt that includes an image of an unknown lady rocking crimson lipstick and sun shades. The unimpressive attire left Lewin underwhelmed.

The third quantity was a bubble gum pink scarf, which she was told to tie around her chest as a halter top, bikini bottoms and a netted sarong. A short-sleeve, hot-pink lace bolero served as the cheesy cherry on top.

“My whole butt is out,” Lewin moaned before vowing to hit the mall for different togs. “This was such a bad idea.”

@montselewin I discovered this stylist through Instagram or TikTok (I truthfully can’t bear in mind which). After contemplating a few different people, I made a decision to go with them because I didn’t need to spend an astronomical quantity of money, and the thought of my Coachella outfits being thrifted sounded superb. I despatched a separate Pinterest board for each outfit with a LOT of pins and stuffed out a detailed kind about every little thing I like and don’t like. In hindsight, I’m not sure if it’s even potential to completely match every single desire somebody has. Going into this, I knew there was always a likelihood I won’t love one top or one pair of bottoms and would have to swap one thing out at the mall. I anticipated that to be half of the method. What I didn’t anticipate was to open the box and notice I didn’t like nearly every single piece, besides possibly one or two issues. I’m truthfully feeling a little upset because fashion has always been one thing I wrestle with. I don’t naturally take into account myself very inventive when it comes to styling outfits, which is precisely why I employed help. I hoped for appears that felt unique, enjoyable, and inventive… but instead I ended up with choices that just don’t really feel like me. I’m also making an attempt not to be too laborious on myself. I most likely ought to have sourced the outfits myself, but between beginning a new job, planning a honeymoon, and seasonal depression, I genuinely didn’t have the power to add one more factor to my plate. Now I’ve 7 days to discover 3 Coachella outfits, and I’m frightened I gained’t find a way to pull together the imaginative and prescient I had in my head. Part of me desires to blame myself, but at the same time… these items just really feel poorly sourced and not very strong. If anybody has Coachella outfit concepts, shops, or styling advice, I’d significantly respect it proper now. #coachellaoutfits #festivalfashion #coachella2026 #outfitfail #fashiontiktok ♬ unique sound – montselewin

Virtual vultures agreed.

“These outfits are so tragic. OMG,” gagged a disapproving commenter.

“What the literal fuck,” puzzled another in disgust.

“Can you sue for defamation?,” a litigious faultfinder posed.

“Girl this is hot garbage,” wrote another, echoing critiques from other objectors who left scathing remarks like, “This is horrendous,” “I have never seen anything so bad” and “Is this a prank?.”

“Please get your money back OMFG,” begged a detractor.
