Vice President JD Vance finally spoke out relating to the escalating strains between Iran and Israel, taking to X on Tuesday afternoon with an intensive commentary.
“Look, I’m seeing this from the inside, and am admittedly biased towards our president (and my friend), but there’s a lot of crazy stuff on social media,” Vance expressed. “So I wished to deal with some issues immediately on the Iran concern.
“First, POTUS has been amazingly constant, over 10 years, that Iran can’t have a nuclear weapon,” he remarked. “Over the previous few months, he inspired his international coverage staff to attain a deal with the Iranians to accomplish this aim.

“The president has made clear that Iran cannot have uranium enrichment,” Vance elucidated further. “And he said repeatedly that this would happen one of two ways–the easy way or the ‘other’ way.
“Second, I’ve seen a lot of confusion over the difficulty of ‘civilian nuclear energy’ and ‘uranium enrichment.’ These are distinct points,” Vance clarified. “Iran might have civilian nuclear energy without enrichment, but Iran rejected that.”, stories the Mirror US.

Vance also identified that the Iranian regime has “enriched uranium far above the level necessary for any civilian purpose.”
He famous, “They’ve been discovered in violation of their non-proliferation obligations by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which is hardly a rightwing group.
“It’s one thing to want civilian nuclear energy. It’s another thing to demand sophisticated enrichment capacity,” Vance continued. “And it’s still another to cling to enrichment while simultaneously violating basic non-proliferation obligations and enriching right to the point of weapons-grade uranium.”

Vance added that he had “yet to see a single good argument for why Iran needed to enrich uranium well above the threshold for civilian use.”
He also talked about, “I’ve yet to see a single good argument for why Iran was justified in violating its non-proliferation obligations. I’ve yet to see a single good pushback against the IAEA’s findings.”
Praising Trump’s actions, Vance acknowledged that he has seen Trump show “remarkable restraint in keeping our military’s focus on protecting our troops and protecting our citizens.”
According to Vance, Trump “may decide he needs to take further action to end Iranian enrichment.

“That choice finally belongs to the president. And of course, people are proper to be nervous about international entanglement after the final 25 years of idiotic international coverage,” Vance concluded. “But I imagine the president has earned some trust on this concern. And having seen this up close and personal, I can guarantee you that he’s only in utilizing the American navy to accomplish the American people’s targets. Whatever he does, that is his focus.”
Vance’s statement emerged in the wake of Trump’s dramatic directive for 10 million Tehran residents to “evacuate immediately.”

This order followed his departure from the G7 summit in Canada, purportedly to negotiate a peace agreement amidst missile exchanges between Iran and Israel.
Trump refuted claims that he left the summit early for this reason, but he did take to Truth Social to declare, “Simply acknowledged, IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON.

“I said it over and over again! Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran,” he continued. His stance was further strengthened aboard Air Force One, where he asserted that Iran was “close” to buying nuclear capabilities.
Additionally, Trump dismissed Tulsi Gabbard’s March testimony, which contended that Iran was not on the brink of nuclear armament. When questioned about potential North Korean or Russian involvement in helping Iran’s nuclear ambitions, Trump expressed his disbelief in such situations.
