Ryan Seacrest fans struggle to recognize him on | TV Shows

Wheel of Fortune fans are expressing concern for Ryan Seacrest following his latest look on the sport show.

Ryan, 50, is the host of Wheel of Fortune with letter-turner Vanna White, 68. The show is at present in its forty third season, having debuted in September. The producer has been the new official host since he changed long-time host Pat Sajak in 2024. The 79-year-old former sport show host announced he was departing Wheel of Fortune back in June 2023. Ryan was revealed as Pat’s substitute shortly after his retirement announcement.

Viewers of the ABC puzzle-based sport show took to Reddit to share their observations of how the American Idol presenter has been trying recently.

One fan posted on the Wheel of Fortune subreddit, inquiring about “what was up with Ryan’s face?”

They elaborated that they thought his cheeks had been trying “unnaturally pronounced” recently. They questioned if the rationale had to do with Ryan shedding an excessive amount of weight, having “bad cheek implants,” or the digicam angles on the show.

In the feedback part, other customers appeared to agree with the unique poster that Ryan did look different and have been apprehensive about his health.

One fan said, “It didn’t even look like Ryan when I saw him a few weeks ago on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune. Very concerning.” A second fan said, “Yeah we noticed this. He looks ill. Hope he’s ok!” Another said, “He looks very sick.”

Some other responses speculated on what may very well be the rationale for Ryan’s current look. An individual wrote, “I think he got the buccal fat removal but atleast he has eyebrows tonight!” A second said, “I assumed bad cheek contour.” Another wrote, “Bad makeup and weight loss.”

The TV character has been the subject of fan hypothesis and rumors that he has undergone beauty work. Ryan has never publicly mentioned or confirmed getting cosmetic surgery.

Along with common Wheel of Fortune episodes airing, Celebrity Wheel of Fortune has been airing as effectively (only weekly on Fridays).

The episode with Dancing With the Stars solid members Derek Hough, Bruno Tonioli and Jenna Johnson Chmerkovsky has been making headlines. The trio have been on the show in late September and Ryan told USA Today that the DTWS decide jumped on the wheel.

“In the commercial break, [Hough] was jumping on the center of the wheel and having Bruno spin it, much like the top of a cake ornament,” Ryan said to the outlet. “We did say, ‘Please don’t do that. That would break it, and there’s only one of those wheels. If that breaks, we have a real problem.’

“We had to type of say, ‘Stick to the ledge,'” he continued, before adding, “They’re very bodily, and that makes for enjoyable.”

On Wednesday, October, Derek addressed Ryan’s claims and denied them on his Instagram Stories. He wrote, according to PEOPLE, “BTW, this is 1000% NOT true. I’d never disrespect a set like that however superior that would’ve been to be ‘spun around it like a cake decoration’ haha.”
