Sisters who trashed Charlie Kirk memorial plead | Political News
Two sisters from Arkansas are begging for funds from the public after they had been doxxed and one was fired following a video exhibiting them destroying a local Charlie Kirk memorial.
Kerri and Kaylee Rollo, 23 and 22 years previous, respectively, had been shown kicking over candles and screaming expletives at their neighborhood memorial. Since, the 2 say they have been “doxxed,” and one sister was fired. They began a GoFundMe that includes a image of protest placards surrounded by candles, including posters for ‘Gaza’ and ‘Trans rights.’ They’ve managed to get $20,000 out of the crowdfunding website.
Both have been charged with first-degree felony mischief after the video, where Kerri was shown ripping a memorial poster in half and giving a digicam a center finger after kicking gadgets over.
The GoFundMe, titled Fight Against F4scism Help Pay For Our Legal Fees, says “After the recent events Charlie Kirk’s death, my sibling and I are being doxxed online and my sibling was fired from their job.”
“This is direct violation of their first amendment rights and unconstitutional. This is unfortunate, but anything helps,” complains one of the sisters.
Kerri labored at an Italian restaurant, recognized as Bella’s Table, positioned in Bella Vista, Arkansas, the Daily Mail reported and has since been fired, with the restaurant condemning her actions.
The sister, Kaylee, was reportedly dumped by her boyfriend.
County officers also condemned the ladies actions. “Sheriff Holloway takes acts of vandalism, particularly those directed toward community memorials, very seriously,” a Benton County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson said.
Joseph Bollinger, the Benton County Justice of the Peace, said to ABC affiliate KHBS-TV that “Everyone has a right to be able to express their freedom of expression. But what the issue is, is when you trample on someone’s memorial—the human act of grieving. You’re not just trampling on their freedom of expression; you’re trampling on the memory of a person.”
“You’re trampling on our Benton County values,” added Bollinger.
Far proper activist Charlie Kirk was fatally shot on Sept. 10 during a talking engagement at Utah Valley University, and 22-year-old Tyler Robinson was arrested and charged in connection with the killing.
Earlier this week, Karoline Leavitt said Donald Trump could be open to creating a national vacation in honor of his close ally, Charlie Kirk.
A reporter requested Leavitt if Trump would love to see Congress go a national vacation that honors Kirk each 12 months. “That’s an interesting question,” said Leavitt. “I’m sure he wouldn’t oppose such a thing, but you can pose that to him yourself the next time you get the chance.”
