Taylor Girard had a natural hat trick in the third period, Kayle Osborne made 28 saves and the New York Sirens beat the Ottawa Charge 4-0 on Saturday night time in the Professional Women’s Hockey League opener for both groups.
Girard opened the scoring at 7:49 of the third, made it 2-0 with 6:21 to go and accomplished the hat trick with 3:12 remaining.
