The U.S. has laid out a collection of stipulations for Venezuela’s oil industry, chief among them being the severance of financial ties and partnerships with some of the nation’s most formidable adversaries – China, Russia, Iran, and Cuba.

Instead, ABC News has realized that Venezuela is predicted not only to completely accomplice with the U.S. in oil manufacturing but also to prioritize it as a purchaser of crude oil.

An unnamed source also revealed to ABC News that Secretary of State Marco Rubio, a pivotal determine in the current Caracas operation, has informed lawmakers of his perception that the Trump administration can use these demands as leverage over Venezuela, given the nation’s current oil tankers are at capability.

He went on to reveal that he has tapped Chris Wright, the U.S. Secretary of Energy, to spearhead the mission.
