President Donald Trump, 79, appeared optimistic about the continuing search for lacking Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mom of Today Show host Savannah Guthrie, 54.
The mom of the Today Show host was reported lacking close to Tucson, Arizona, on Sunday after she failed to make an look at her church. The blood that was discovered outdoors her home was confirmed by authorities to belong to her. Authorities also imagine she was kidnapped from her home during her sleep. Despite studies of ransom notes despatched to news retailers, law enforcement has not verified their authenticity.
Nancy was last seen Saturday evening when relations dropped her off at her home close to Tucson, according to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.
During the Fox News livestream on Friday, President Trump shared an update on the investigation during his press convention aboard Air Force One.
A reporter requested, “Mr. President, you promised Savannah Guthrie’s family the full support of federal law enforcement. The FBI is…”
President Trump interrupted the journalist and said, “I’ll give you a little statement. I think we’re doing very well in that regard.”
“You’re probably surprised to hear that,” Trump added and paused for a bit before persevering with. “Uh, I think we’re doing very well. Very meaning…”
He paused again and went on, “We have some clues that are very strong. I think we could have answers coming up fairly soon.”

The reporter pressed, “The nationwide search… the search going into Mexico…”
Trump shook his head and interrupted again. “No, I’m not talking about a search. I’m talking about a solution.”
“We have some things I think may come out reasonably soon from DOJ (Department of Justice) or FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) or whoever,” he continued. “That could be….”
Another reporter completed the sentence for him, “Suspect?”
“That could be definitive,” he replied.
“A lot has taken place in the past couple of hours. A lot of things have happened with regard to that horrible situation the last couple of hours,” he closed.

On Wednesday, Trump took to his Truth Social platform and shared how he would help discover Savannah’s mom. The president talked about that he had beforehand spoken to the NBC star by telephone.
“I spoke with Savannah Guthrie, and let her know that I am directing ALL Federal Law Enforcement to be at the family’s, and Local Law Enforcement’s, complete disposal, IMMEDIATELY,” he wrote.
“We are deploying all resources to get her mother home safely,” Trump posted. “The prayers of our Nation are with her and her family. GOD BLESS AND PROTECT NANCY!”
Trump personally called Savannah Guthrie after a White House interview with NBC’s Tom Llamas also on Wednesday.
