Vanderpump Rules gets new cast as fans urge let | TV Shows

The new cast of  Vanderpump Rules still has some work to do to win over the show’s die-hard fans.

Bravo has launched the first look at the rebooted actuality collection, which is returning with a new group of SUR-vers.

It’s been months since the new cast was recognizing filming, and fans’ reactions haven’t modified — they have been upset then, and they still are.

The new trailer begins off with a few memorable clips from past seasons, including a closet scene from season 6 when Lala Kent said about Katie Maloney, “Your man made out with my friend.”

Then, the enduring boss Lisa Vanderpump says, “I used to say SUR is where you take your mistress. But now, it’s probably where you meet her,” before switching to the chaos that occurs during the upcoming Season 12.

The following sequences depict the new cast partying, getting into physical altercations, sharing gossip, and developing romantic connections.

One cast member, Demy Selem, was heard saying, “I honestly work with idiots.”

“We’re able to work, party, have sex,” another added.

Despite the trailer being packed with action, fans are left unimpressed and saying the same thing.

One X user said, “vanderpump rules trailer is so bad, they should of never revamped the cast.”

“Looks fake and everyone is performing for the cameras. Some shows should just be canceled. Let this one go Bravo,” another added.

A third chimed in, “ill never forgive lisa vanderpump for what she did to vanderpump rules. on my birthday month?!”

Inside Traitors’ Tom Sandoval’s love life – Scandoval to recent cheating claims

In July 2024, Bravo announced the show was going on a hiatus to give the cast some room to recover from a strenuous filming schedule and the drama that ensued from the cheating scandal between Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval, also known as Scandoval.

Production for season 11 continued filming three months after the alleged affair was revealed, causing Ariana to be captured in a “violently angry stage.”

When filming was set to begin again, everyone had been “stuck in their feelings.”

An insider told Collider, “It was completely driven by creative. There had been a long pause in production, and nothing had really changed among the cast since the reunion.

“Everyone was still stuck in their feelings and refusing to bend,” the source added. “The network felt there was no path forward with the group in that capacity.”

“The group ties to SUR and [Lisa Vanderpump] was practically non-existent,” the insider also talked about.

Fortunately for fans, a new cast doesn’t imply former stars gained’t pop up on screen again in the future.

“The network isn’t closing the door on working with anyone in the future,” the source said. “They will always explore opportunities to bring these stars back to their screens.”
