NFL pundit Terry Bradshaw made a fleeting cameo with the FOX NFL Kickoff crew forward of Sunday’s fixtures getting underway. Brees is standing in for Edelman this week because the previous large receiver is getting inducted into the New England Patriots’ Hall of Fame at Gillette Stadium. Brees was with NBC last season and commentated on a playoff match for the broadcaster in 2021.

He reckons he deserves another alternative in the commentary box, saying in August: “I chuckle because even as I look at the landscape right now, I mean, I have so much respect for a lot of guys in the booth right now.

“But I’d step in the sales space proper now and be a top-three man, like, without query. And then you give me a few years and I may very well be the best.”

Thompson opened up about the alterations to her show during the offseason, confessing she was ‘bummed’ that both Schrager and Vick departed, but is thrilled to welcome a new team.

“So, it is Jules [Edelman] and I and Charles Woodson,” she revealed. “And so, we’ll discover out a little bit more nearer to the soccer season, kind of the construction and the rundown, and sort of how we wish to body that show.

“I think it’s a new beginning, so as we’re hitting our stride at Amazon, we’re kind of starting back over at FOX, which is also excited because that means that there are new opportunities to do different things on that show.”
