Lakers star Luka Doncic will not play in the workforce’s two preseason video games this weekend, the workforce announced after its shoot-around Friday.
Doncic will sit out against the Phoenix Suns on Friday night time at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert and against the Golden State Warriors on Sunday night time in San Francisco.
The Lakers said it was a collaborative determination made with L.A.’s efficiency workforce because of his time enjoying for the Slovenian national workforce in the EuroBasket match this summer time.
The Lakers said the plan is to be good with Doncic in the long time period as he ramps up for the common season that opens Oct. 21 against the Warriors at Crypto.com Arena.
LeBron James, Marcus Smart (achilles tendinopathy), Maxi Kleber (quad) and rookie Aduo Thiero (knee) also received’t play against the Suns.
